With so much to see and do in Branson it is hard to even begin to cover everything but we would like to give you an overview of some of the highlights. All of Branson's entertainment and activities are based on family values. So, whether you are a family, friends, a couple, or a large group you will not find anything to offend or embarrass you.

With more than 45 theaters and 100 shows, Branson has more theaters with live entertainment than anywhere in the U.S. There are more theater seats in Branson than Broadway! Morning, afternoon and evening performances provide an almost unlimited variety of options. In addition we have 4 theme parks, many museums, horse back riding, caverns and canyons to explore, a railroad, golf courses, and of course - the lakes.

But, country music is what started the whole ball rolling in Branson and we have no shortage of stars performing here in their own theaters and also making special guest appearances. Over the years many other forms of music and entertainment have been added to our stages. Music from the big band sounds of the 40's to today's popular stars and hits grace our theatres. We have shows that feature Broadway, Christian music, patriotic, amazing circus acts, and acrobatics. There is no shortage of hilarious comedy and magic either! If you are looking for food and entertainment together, many of our theaters have dinner shows or dinner available at the theater prior to the show. Theme Parks

Silver Dollar City is our largest theme park, an authentic historical 1880's Ozark Mountain Village, with 6 fantastic festivals throughout the year, spectacular amusement rides and serious roller coasters, and the Marvel Cave - the largest naturally made cavern in the world. As you stroll down the lanes you will pass the local handcrafters at work, and maybe enjoy an old fashioned funnel cake or a real soda fountain drink. There are 10  theaters with exciting shows that will give you a chance to catch some "picking and a grinning" at almost every turn.

Celebration City: Scream as you ride the Ozark Wildcat wooden roller coaster or race your friends on the Route 66 speedway carts. Thrill to rides like the Thunderbolt, the scrambler, the orbiter or the tilt-a-whirl. As you step through the gate you are taken back to a Victorian-era America with fountains, water sculptures, and a vintage style carousel. Celebration City is also home to the nightly outdoor production using spectacular water screens, lasers and fireworks all set to music. The City is home to spectacular rides plus "The Boardwalk!".

White Water: Make a big splash at Branson's largest water park. With incredible water slides, rides for all ages plus BBQ areas, sand volleyball courts and a 500,000 gallon wave pool there is always something to do! Go crazy or just go lazy but what ever you decide there is a whole summer's worth of fun to be had at White Water, "The Beach Within Reach."

Shepherd of the Hills Theme Park has so much to see and do it is hard to describe. Historical sites, championship horses, a huge playground for the children, indoor theatre shows, shops and beautiful vistas. You will want to catch their evening outdoor drama that tells the story of the history of the beginnings of Branson. (You may have seen the movie if you are an old John Wayne buff.) You can also take a tour of the Old Matt Homestead and experience the breath-taking view from the top of Inspiration Tower.

The Lakes

Everyone talks about the shows in Branson but we have much more to offer. Located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains and on the shores of Lake Taneycomo and Table Rock Lake, the area abounds with beautiful scenery and every water sport you could want. We have some of the best trout and bass fishing in the country. From jet skis to catamarans, you can rent whatever you need at one of our local marinas or board one of the excursion boats for sightseeing on the lake and wonderful food and entertainment. If hiking or biking is your passion, you will find many picturesque spots in which to enjoy your exercise.

Golf
