Silver Dollar City is an 1880's theme park that takes visitors on a remarkable journey back in time. • The GIANT Swing - Launch through the barn doors at 45 mph and climb over 7 stories in the air and fly a full 230° from one side of the barn to the other. We dare you to keep your eyes open!
• Try "Wildfire" - a multi-looping cobra rollin' coaster that will make your stomach drop. It has FIVE inversions, a 15 story vertical drop, and travels at speeds up to 66 mph!
• The American Plunge - Climb more than five stories into the Ozark sky and splash down at speeds reaching 35 miles per hour. This traditional log flume ride offers a thrilling way to get a refreshing all-American soaking!
• Powder Keg - The $10 million roller coaster! Goes from 0 to 53 mph in just 2.8 seconds. Shocking speed,  spiraling turns, negative "G" forces, and "floater" hills at speeds up to 64 mph!
• Fire-In-The-Hole - A town set ablaze by the Baldknobbers, (will you escape?)
• Frisco Silver Dollar Line Steam Train - All aboard for a 20 minute scenic ride and a touch of the Ozarks, complete with train robbers!

• McHaffie's Homestead - A real, hewn-log cabin built in 1843 with a barnyard out back, an old steam tractor running a shingle saw, a mule-powered corn grinder, a log hewer, the one-room schoolhouse and entertainment 1880s-style.
• Splash Harbor - A 2-story ship and 3 level dockside tower. Test your sharp shooting and cool off with the water cannons, aqua exploders, water blasters and more.
• Wilderness Church - Hymn singing, vow renewal, Sunday morning service or quiet reflections in this authentic log cabin church.
• Oak Trail School - Where all classes are held in one room. Miss Bonnie Jean invites everyone to pick a desk, sit down and talk to her about school in the 1800s. Watch out for her tricky questions!

Theatre Stage Shows!

All indoor theaters have access entrances for guests with disabilities and all outdoor theaters are disabled accessible as well.

• Cajun Connection - At the Dockside Theatre during Kids' Fest. Louisiana Music Hall of Fame member Cedric Benoit is joined on stage by the Cajun Connection band in a high energy salute to the rich musical traditions of Louisiana. No shows on Thursday.
• Choctaw Charlie' Frontier Follies - Silver Dollar Saloon. The rollicking Wild West comedy rides again. Charlie and his wacky sidekick, Dusty Chaps, join the beautiful saloon gals to bring smiles to kids of all ages.
• Classic Country Nights - Echo Hollow® Amphitheatre. Echo Hollow® Amphitheater springs to life with Classic Country Hits. Emcee and comedian Jae McFeron and special festival guests join piano virtuoso Tracy Heaston and the Time Machine Band as they perform the most famous country music of the 60's, 70's, and 80's. With a special guest group making an appearance each night in Echo Hollow for Bluegrass and BBQ and our Fall Salute to the Great American Cowboy is "keepin' it country".
• Horsecreek Band - Traditional country music, bluegrass, western, and gospel music by five veteran Silver Dollar City performers. Boatworks Theater during Kids' Fest, five days per week. No shows Friday or Saturday.
• McHaffie's Homestead - Step into life in an 1880's Ozark homestead at McHaffie's Homestead on the Silver Dollar City Square. Wander through this authentic "saddlebag" log cabin, visit the barnyard out back, take a seat in the one-room schoolhouse, and join the talented Homestead Pickers as they play and sing on the front porch.
• Pure Heart - Great harmonies are guaranteed to delight the country music lover in all of us. Various stages after World-Fest, five days a week.
• Sons of the Silver Dollar - Dubbed Silver Dollar City's resident "cowpokes," you'll be delighted by the trio's tight harmonies and incredible vocal talents.
• Street Troupe - Those hilarious Silver Dollar City characters are at it again, creating mischief, shenanigans and special memories with their unique brand of Ozark humor. The troupe is always on the lookout for willing volunteers from the audience to become part of the action. Main Street after World-Fest, 7 days a week.

To top it all off - the craftsmen of the kitchens treat you to fabulous food in a dozen delightful restaurants plus snacks galore throughout the park to ensure that no one goes hungry, with a temptation for every taste.

It's a celebration of harmony and goodwill where smiles resonate across oceans, laughter resounds throughout cultures, dance links all people and music is the universal language! Ireland's Feet of Fire! is an elaborate new stage show features live Irish music, champion step dancers and symbolic fire dancing from the Emerald Isle. Plus, see the NEW Watoto Children's Choir from Uganda, Zunyi Acrobats of China and much more! Circus of the Century - the greatest show on ice delivers never-before-seen acts combining all the fun of the circus with the beauty and grace of precision ice skating. Veggie Tales® Presents: The Invention of Silliness! Tune in with Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber in this zany show. The folks from Kid Concoctions™ return with a new and expanded activities area and the Interactive Barn! Championship Clogging features young award-winning, competition dance teams from around the nation sharing the tradition of folk dance in America. All this, plus over 30 other rides and attractions including The Giant Swing, 10 family rides at The Grand Exposition, the high-speed, multi-looping WildFire®, the corkscrew curves of Thunderation, the white river rapids of The Lost River of the Ozarks and PowderKeg® - launching from zero to breathless in 2.8 seconds! Hear that vibrant music again during Silver Dollar City's Southern Gospel Picnic! See hundreds of performances from the top names in southern gospel music including The Isaacs, Jeff & Sheri Easter, Karen Peck & New River, The Martins and more! Savor southern cooking at its best as the House of Chicken & Fixin's and The Picnic Wagon return for this 11 day event. Continue to watch the website for a schedule of performers.  September 11 - October 25, 2008: National Harvest Festival It's a new name, but the same great festival with two events in one! The Home of American Craftsmanship, Silver Dollar City welcomes over 100 visiting craftsmen, over 400 of the nation's finest musicians, and back by popular demand our signature stage show, Headin' West, during the National Harvest Festival! Round up your crew during the month of September for our Salute to the Great American Cowboy! See the nine-time Grammy winning kings of Texas swing - "Asleep at the Wheel" in concert September 20, plus your favorite cowboy celebrities and more. Come back in October for our All-NEW Salute to the All-American Farmer! See legendary country singer and nine-time Farm Aid performer - John Conlee in concert October 11, plus much more!  November 1 - December 30, 2008: An Old Time Christmas Experience the magic of Christmas like never before when you visit this holiday season! Through the festival, the entire park is transformed into a breathtaking holiday Wonderland with millions of lights and festive decorations! Silver Dollar City presents the Dickens Christmas Carol, complete with flying spirits, disappearing ghosts and singing statues surprises its audience with amazing special effects. You will be transported to Dickens' London where through humor an inspiration, this familiar story will warm your hearts in a brand new way. That jolly, happy soul, Frosty The Snowman is coming to town! See him come to life in a self-titled All-NEW Show for the entire family. Take yourself to the little town of Bethlehem in The Living Nativity, where the real reason for this season is revealed in a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Santa's Sleigh joins the acclaimed Holiday Light Parade, with a reindeer in the lead and Santa at the reins. Santa's gigantic toy sack spills the Gifts of Christmas out the back, as the entire float glows with over 3,000 lights. The popular parade of colorful floats, emblazoned in over 80,000 lights, glide through the streets of the City twice each evening. During the Tree Lighting Celebration, the entire City is transformed into a holiday wonderland as each evening at 5:30 p.m. as guests join together on the Square for the lighting of the dazzling, 7-story Special Effects Christmas Tree. With over 450,000 lights adorning the surrounding buildings and trees and coordinated to blaze to the musical movements of Christmas songs, this unique Christmas Tree presents classics such as "Carol of the Bells" and Handel’s "Hallelujah Chorus" in a spectacular light and sound show. Rides & Attractions open during our festival include The Giant Swing, The Giant Swing High-Low, PowderKeg®, Skychase Balloon Ride, Thunderation, WildFire®, The Grand Exposition, Electro Spin, Elephant March, Grand Exposition, Coaster, Happy Frogs, Magnificent Wave Carousel, Mighty Galleon, Racing Regatta, Royal Tea Party, The Ladybugs and Wings of Wonder.
