April 4 - May 3, 2009: World-Fest - America's Largest International
Festival!
Each
spring the proud citizens of Silver Dollar City welcome international performers
from around the world to share their stories and trade traditions with our
guests visiting Ozark Mountain Country. It's a celebration of harmony and
goodwill where smiles resonate across oceans, laughter resounds throughout
cultures, dance links all people and music is the universal language!

May 13 - 31, 2009: Bluegrass and BBQ Festival
See electrifying performances by some of the very best names in Bluegrass music today, from award- winning
favorites to red-hot rising stars! Plus, special events hosted during the festival include the Annual Single Mic Championship and KSMU Youth
in Bluegrass Band Contest.
Try the nation’s most popular flavors from Memphis dry rubs and sweet and tangy Carolina vinegars to smoky Texas-style tastes and the
Midwest’s own Kansas City-style. Come hungry and sink your teeth into this smokin’ all-American pastime.
Young and old alike enjoy this toe-tapping, hand-clapping, All-American festival!
June 6 - August 9, 2009: National Kids Fest

Peter Gossamer returns to Silver Dollar City's National Kids Fest in 2009 with new illusions, even more dramatic
than before! One of the world's greatest illusionists, Gossamer's Magic combines original concepts and a fresh approach to the art of
illusion with comedic vignettes and a charismatic personality for a truly amazing performance.
VeggieTales® are back by popular demand and are proud to introduce its newest zany character, Pa Grape, as he tries to create the
biggest and best Silly Song ever in his workshop. See VeggieTales® newest production as you share important life lessons, filled with
timeless values, with your family. Plus, meet Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber after each show!

August 27 - September 7, 2009: Southern Gospel Picnic
Southern gospel music has always resounded through these Ozark hills, from country churches and county fairs to porch-side pickin' sessions
and Sunday services. Come hear that vibrant music again during America's Biggest Southern Gospel Picnic. See
hundreds of performances from the top names in southern gospel music! The heavens will resound with the sweet sounds of your favorite
southern gospel groups on stages throughout the park by day.
Then Echo Hollow® Amphitheatre will be serenaded with music from the famed Southern Gospel Nights concert series each evening.
Savor southern cooking at its best with The House of Chicken & Fixin's and The Picnic Wagon on the City's square!

September 12 - October 31, 2009: National Harvest Festival
The
Home of American Craftsmanship, Silver Dollar City welcomes you
to join the fun at the National Harvest Festival.
Back by popular demand is their signature stage show Headin' West! This 45-minute live musical production, created especially for
Silver Dollar City audiences, tells the timeless tale of American westward expansion during the 1860s. Complete with colorful characters,
harrowing adventures, a lush musical score, surprising special effects, vivid scenery and talented performers - it's Silver Dollar City's
biggest production show ever! Show is free with
park admission.
This festival includes the new Salute to the Great American CowGIRL!
See the world-famous Cowgirl Chicks precision horse team as well as other nationally renowned cowgirl entertainers, artists and more!
Come back in October for the NEW Missouri's Best! Meet over 100 Missouri artisans as they fill the park with their very own salute to
Missouri's fine craftsmanship. Witness Missouri's beautiful birds of prey as the World Bird Sanctuary presents Wings Over Missouri in Echo
Hollow® Amphitheatre. All this plus a Famous Missourian's showcase and much more!
November 7 - December 27, 2009: An Old Time
Christmas
 Experience
the magic of Christmas like never before when you visit this holiday season!
Through the festival, the entire park is transformed into a breathtaking holiday
Wonderland with millions of lights and festive decorations! Silver
Dollar City presents the Dickens Christmas Carol, complete with flying
spirits, disappearing ghosts and singing statues
surprises its audience with
amazing special effects. You will be transported to Dickens' London where
through humor an inspiration, this familiar story will warm your hearts in a
brand new way.
That jolly, happy soul,
Frosty The Snowman is coming to town! See him come to life in a show for the entire family. Take
yourself to the little town of Bethlehem in The Living Nativity, where
the real reason for this season is revealed in a celebration of the birth of
Jesus Christ.
Emblazoned in over
100,000 lights, the Gifts of Christmas Holiday Light Parade glides through the streets of the "City" twice each evening, weather
permitting. You will see Santa's Sleigh with a
reindeer in the lead and Santa at the reins as Santa's gigantic toy sack spills
the Gifts of Christmas out the back The popular parade of colorful floats
glide through the streets of the City twice each evening.
The entire City is transformed into a
holiday wonderland as each evening at 5:30 p.m. as guests join together on the
Square for the lighting of the dazzling, 7-story Special Effects
Christmas
Tree. With over
450,000 lights adorning the surrounding buildings and trees and
coordinated to blaze to the musical
movements of Christmas songs, this unique Christmas Tree
presents classics such as "Carol of the Bells" and Handel’s "Hallelujah Chorus"
in a spectacular light and sound show.
Weather permitting, your family's favorite rides and attractions will be open during An Old Time Christmas! Enjoy Fire-In-The-Hole,
Flooded Mine, Frisco Sing-Along Steam Train, Geyser Gulch, Grandfather's Mansion, Homestead Barnyard and Marvel Cave.
