State-of-the-Art Rides!

• New for 2011! Half Dollar Holler - discover big adventures for little explorers!
  Created especially for children through age 7, Half Dollar Holler provides a safe play zone with a single-access entrance and kid-friendly structures. Treetop funhouses and climbing nets set the stage for engaging entertainment, as children make their way through a maze of elevated dwellings. And, a lot of sand and a little water equal big fun for small hands.
• RiverBlast - America's Biggest Water Battle! Legendary pranksters, Tom & Huck, have found their way to Silver Dollar City and they've hatched a plan to take guests on the wettest, wildest river adventure these parts have ever seen! Riders and spectators will participate in this fun-soaked feud.
• The GIANT Swing - Launch through the barn doors at 45 mph and climb over 7 stories in the air and fly a full 230° from one side of the barn to the other. We dare you to keep your eyes open!
• Try "Wildfire" - a multi-looping cobra rollin' coaster that will make your stomach drop. It has FIVE inversions, a 15 story vertical drop, and travels at speeds up to 66 mph!
• The American Plunge - Climb more than five stories into the Ozark sky and splash down at speeds reaching 35 miles per hour. This traditional log flume ride offers a thrilling way to get a refreshing all-American soaking!
• Powder Keg - The $10 million roller coaster! Goes from 0 to 53 mph in just 2.8 seconds. Shocking speed,  spiraling turns, negative "G" forces, and "floater" hills at speeds up to 64 mph!
• Fire-In-The-Hole - A town set ablaze by the Baldknobbers, (will you escape?)
• Frisco Silver Dollar Line Steam Train - All aboard for a 20 minute scenic ride and a touch of the Ozarks, complete with train robbers!
• The Flooded Mine - The prisoners have taken control of the prison! A hair raisin' boat ride through the Flooded Mine complete with arcade-style shoot-out fun!
• Lost River of the Ozarks - The fastest whitewater in the Ozarks propels your raft down a mighty raging lost river with numerous turns, twists and drops. Prepare to get soaked!
• Thunderation - Rumble through the treetops on a runaway mine train! Thunderation is an 80-foot tall, high-speed, smooth-riding coaster with a scenic view of the Ozarks!
• The Grand Exposition - 10 family rides! Magnificent Wave Carousel, Mighty Galleon, Electro Spin, The Great Exposition Coaster, Racing Regatta, Royal Tea Party, Wings of Wonder, The Ladybugs, & Happy Frogs

Exciting Attractions!

• Geyser Gulch - Climb 3 stories into the world's largest tree house complete with swinging bridges, towers and erupting geysers.
• Grandfather's Mansion - a house full of weird tricks, zany antics and surprises.
• Marvel Cave - Explore a natural wonder and registered national landmark discovered in the 1550's. Guided walking tours depart frequently from the Hospitality House on a truly remarkable adventure underground.
• McHaffie's Homestead - A real, hewn-log cabin built in 1843 with a barnyard out back, an old steam tractor running a shingle saw, a mule-powered corn grinder, a log hewer, the one-room schoolhouse and entertainment 1880s-style.
• Wilderness Church - Hymn singing, vow renewal, Sunday morning service or quiet reflections in this authentic log cabin church.
• Oak Trail School - Where all classes are held in one room. Miss Bonnie Jean invites everyone to pick a desk, sit down and talk to her about school in the 1800s. Watch out for her tricky questions!

Theater Stage Shows!
All indoor theaters have access entrances for guests with disabilities and all outdoor theaters are disabled accessible as well. Over 40 live shows each day.

• Cajun Connection -  Louisiana Music Hall of Fame member Cedric Benoit is joined on stage by the Cajun Connection band in a high energy salute to the rich musical traditions of Louisiana.
• Choctaw Charlie' Frontier Follies - Silver Dollar Saloon. Madcap comedy ensues when Bart and the girls hire a couple of big city directors to produce a new saloon show. You can always count on beautiful saloon gals and the rest of the gang to bring the house down with laughter during this rollicking Wild West comedy!
• GAC Nights - Echo Hollow® Amphitheatre. Echo Hollow® Amphitheater springs to life with Great American Country. This exciting show features a talented cast of singers and dancers who will keep you singing along to your favorite tunes, and comedy for the whole family to enjoy. Come see the stars on stage and in the night sky - each evening at park closing, weather permitting.
• Horsecreek Band - Traditional country music, bluegrass, western, and gospel music by four veteran Silver Dollar City performers.
• McHaffie's Homestead - Step into life in an 1880's Ozark homestead at McHaffie's Homestead on the Silver Dollar City Square. Wander through this authentic "saddlebag" log cabin, visit the barnyard out back, take a seat in the one-room schoolhouse, and join the talented Homestead Pickers as they play and sing on the front porch.
• Pure Heart - Step onto Silver Dollar City's Main Street and be entertained by the rich melodies of Pure Heart. No one harmonizes like family or teases like a sister, and Pure Heart has been delighting visitors with beautiful vocals and family stories for years. Join these talented siblings for a little country flair!
• Sons of the Silver Dollar - Dubbed Silver Dollar City's resident "cowpokes," you'll be delighted by the trio's tight harmonies and incredible vocal talents.
• Street Troupe - Those hilarious Silver Dollar City characters are at it again, creating mischief, shenanigans and special memories with their unique brand of Ozark humor. The troupe is always on the lookout for willing volunteers from the audience to become part of the action. Main Street after World-Fest, 7 days a week.

World Fest: April 7 - May 8, 2011

The World-Class World-Fest returns in 2011 to defy your imagination and thrill your family, right here at Silver Dollar City! Each spring international performers from around the world gather in America's Heartland. It's a celebration of global proportions where laughter and music are universal languages!

See traditional favorites and terrific new groups as you discover the beauty of cultures from continents away at World-Fest, America's Largest International Festival! New for 2011: The Mayorov Russian State Circus, Canadian Powerhouse, Rhythms of Rajasthan (from India), Irish Eyes are Smiling starring Dearbhail Finnegan and Michael Londra, Slovenian Polka Party, and many more.

Come hungry for a taste of international cuisine. Try new savory specialties and taste-tempting desserts from around the globe at Tastes of the World. Or take a class at the Culinary & Craft School during World-Fest for recipes with an international flavor. Silver Dollar City invites your family to explore a world of cultural entertainment during World-Fest!

Bluegrass & BBQ Festival: May 12-30, 2011

See electrifying performances by some of the very best names in Bluegrass music today, from award-winning favorites to red-hot rising stars! Silver Dollar City's 2011 lineup includes Grammy nominee and two-time IBMA Entertainer of the Year The Grascals and seven-time IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year Rhonda Vincent, along with 2010 IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year and seven-time IBMA Vocal Group of the Year Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out, SPBGMA 2010, 2009 & 2008 Entertaining Group of the Year Nothin' Fancy and so many more!

The Dockside Theatre will feature Missouri bluegrass bands in a Show-Me Showcase. There will also be two exclusive special events hosted during the Bluegrass & BBQ Festival: the Annual Single Mic Championship and KSMU Youth in Bluegrass Band Contest, in which outstanding musicians compete for bluegrass glory and cash prizes!

Try the nation's most popular flavors at The House of BBQ. From Memphis dry rubs and sweet and tangy Carolina vinegars to smoky Texas-style tastes and the Midwest's own Kansas City-style. Come hungry and sink your teeth into this smokin' all-American pastime. While you're there you can learn new recipes when you take a class at the Culinary & Craft School!

National Kids Fest: June 11-July 24, 2011

Silver Dollar City's newest million dollar addition is all about big adventures for little explorers! Southern Gospel Picnic: August 25-September 5, 2011

Southern gospel music has always resounded through these Ozarks' hills, from country churches and county fairs to grand stages and even in backyards during family get-togethers. Come hear that vibrant music again during America's Biggest Southern Gospel Picnic.

See hundreds of performances from the top names in southern gospel music! The heavens will resound with the sweet sounds of your favorite southern gospel groups, including The Chuck Wagon Gang and The Blackwood Brothers, on stages throughout the park by day. Then Echo Hollow® Amphitheatre will be serenaded with music from the famed Southern Gospel Nights concert series each evening.

Savor southern cooking at its best with The House of Chicken & Fixin's on the City's square! Find your family's favorite styles of chicken, plus all the extras you love! Choose from our succulent Apple Butter Glazed Chicken, delicious Orange Glazed Chicken, tender Slow Smoked Pulled Pork or our famous Southern Fried Chicken.

National Harvest Festival: September 10-October 29, 2011

Silver Dollar City welcomes hundreds of visiting craftsmen during the National Harvest Festival! Here for 2011 you'll see the Timberworks Lumberjack Show, Chalk Street Artists, Turning Wood Into Art Showcase, a 50-Ton Sand Sculpture, Birds of Prey Shows including Bald Eagles, Hawks, Owls & More, along with hundreds of demonstrating craftsmen throughout the park.

Headin' West returns to the Opera House stage for another spectacular season! Winner of the "Big-E" award for Best Overall Production in 2009 by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, this 45-minute live musical production, created especially for Silver Dollar City, tells the timeless tale of American westward expansion during the 1860s. Complete with colorful characters, harrowing adventures, a moving musical score, surprising special effects, vivid scenery and talented performers - it's Silver Dollar City's biggest production show ever!

An Old Time Christmas: November 5-December 30, 2011

Holiday Magic Starts at the Square! Bring your entire family and celebrate the true meaning of this magical season amidst the glow of over 4 million dazzling lights. You'll take home beautiful holiday memories destined to last a lifetime!

The celebration truly starts with Silver Dollar City's square, the setting for Christmas on Main Street, our biggest light show ever! Come see why HotelsCombined.com named Silver Dollar City home to the #1 Holiday Light and Tree Show in the nation! See the musical 5-story Special Effects Christmas Tree as it twinkles and dances in unison with over one million lights adorning the City's square

Emblazoned in over 100,000 lights, the Gifts of Christmas Holiday Light Parade glides through the streets of the "City" twice each evening, weather permitting. The sounds of the season can be heard throughout the park with shows such as The Living Nativity and Frosty! You can even see the jolly old elf himself at Kringles Krossing.

Silver Dollar City's grandest production show ever, A Dickens' Christmas Carol is an original musical adaptation of the classic by Charles Dickens. This inspiring story of redemption features a live band, a talented cast, astounding special effects, stunning Victorian scenery and period costuming.
